Launching this website and private practice is a dream years in the making—a vision I’ve nurtured throughout my career. Woven Language + Learning represents more than a business; it’s a reflection of my deep commitment to supporting students, families, educators, and fellow professionals in thoughtful, individualized, and innovative ways.

The vision for Woven is big, but right now I’m starting small. Life has a way of reshaping timelines and priorities. In April 2025, my 82-year-old mother-in-law had a sudden, severe stroke. She’s fighting her way back—”strong like bull,” as we lovingly say—but her communication has been deeply impacted. As a speech-language pathologist, this has been eye-opening both professionally and personally, and it’s reminded me just how unpredictable life can be.

For a moment, I considered postponing this launch. But it goes against everything this experience has taught me to embrace. So here I am—launching Woven with a full vision and a work-in-progress execution. I’m embracing the imperfect start, and I invite you to stay tuned as this dream continues to unfold.
